How It Works
WEGOVY® contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics the body’s natural hormones regulating appetite and blood glucose. Administration

The 0.5 mg dose is typically used for weeks 5–8, following the starter dose. After this period, patients usually transition to higher strengths (1.0 mg, 1.7 mg, or 2.4 mg) as directed by their healthcare provider.

Possible Side Effects
Common effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal discomfort, or reduced appetite.
