Teosyal RHA 3 contains a combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and non-modified hyaluronic acid. While the cross-linked hyaluronic acid helps the filler to last longer before breaking down, the non-modified hyaluronic acid helps to make the filler more elastic. This ability to stretch helps Teosyal RHA 3 move with the skin, providing more natural-looking results. Together, these two forms of hyaluronic acid are able to absorb up to 1000 times their weight in moisture, filling and supporting the skin while retaining hydration. Over time, these substances will gradually break down within your patient’s skin, allowing them to be resorbed into the body.
Teosyal RHA 3 should last for around 6 to 9 months, so your patients should visit your clinic for a treatment session once or twice a year.
