Stylage XL is an injectable implant indicated for the treatment of facial volume defects, including the restoration or augmentation of the cheeks and contours of the face, as well as the treatment of slight ptoses. Stylage XL is also indicated for the treatment of facial lipodystrophy, including that seen in patients suffering from HIV. This hyaluronic acid-based filler may also be used to rejuvenate the hands via sub-cutaneous injection.
The hyaluronic acid present in Stylage XL binds to water molecules in the skin, plumping up the dermis and creating enhanced volume. This effect makes it highly efficient at filling in facial hollows, enhancing cheeks or cheekbones, contouring facial features, or creating a facelift-like effect by lifting up sagging skin.
